Here's a not very good one for Rackspace.com

After 5+ years it's time to say goodbye to Rackspace.

The Good - Their support staff is pretty good when you get them on the phone or use the ticketing system. They also have great uptime (although we recently had some issues that required a reboot they didn't tell me about). They told me it was a power outage.

The Bad - We got our own personal account manager when we first signed up but she is no longer with the company. The one we have now doesn't do such a good job for us. I'm also nonplussed with their chat support - it doesn't seem like the people you deal with really know what they're doing. Lastly, it seems like they haven't made any real improvements to the product or service in the last couple of years. As far as I knew businesses were always supposed to be trying to get better.

The Ugly - The reason we're leaving Rackspace after so long is the fact that they are charging us for bandwidth we're not using. They claim we're using a certain amount but can't produce any evidence to prove that's true. I suspect the problem has something to do with their power going out and our server being rebooted. All I know is that we're being charged for something we're not using. As much as we've been pleased with Rackspace we're not going to keep paying the extra money.

Sorry Rackspace, it's time to say goodbye.
